Rates and Insurance

I am currently an in-network provider with CareFirst, Anthem, Anthem Healthkeepers, and Blue Cross BlueShield. 

 

The private pay rate for a therapy session is $200. The initial assessment fee is $230.

 

Many insurers offer out-of-network benefits that may cover more than half of your session cost. I recommend calling your insurance company to inquire about this. When collecting payment during the time of service, Unity Kids is happy to provide you with a superbill (receipt) to submit to your insurance for reimbursement of the percentage they reimburse you.

 

Additionally, I also accept Health Savings Account (HSA) payments.

Questions to ask your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?

  • What is my co-pay?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

  • What are my out-of-network benefits?

Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
